SHILLONG: The government has finalised the education policy that awaits Cabinet approval.
“The department has finalised the education policy and the document will have to be approved by the Cabinet,” Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said on Wednesday.
He said the committee that finalised the draft education policy has included a few additional points as plan of action in the final document.
One suggestion is to have periodical auditing of the functioning of government schools.
