This is for information of all the occupiers/owners of all units involving manufacturing process which constitute a factory as per the Factories Act, 1948 and running without a valid Factory license are hereby directed to apply for a license at the office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Shillong at the earliest failing which action as deem fit and proper will be initiated.

General meeting
The MeECL progressive workers union will have its general council meeting at Riatsamthiah community hall in the city at 11 am on Saturday. All union members are requested to attend.

Mahayagya
Gour-Nitai Sangha, a socio-cultural organisation in Laban, will hold Asta-Prahar Harinam Sangkirtan Mahayagya at Laban Namghar from 6 pm on August 11 on the occasion of Jhulan Yatra. It will continue till 3 pm on August 13.

Organising Secretary, Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) CELL, Woodland Institute of Nursing has clarified that the 1st National Conference on Substance, Suicide and Adolescents: Effects of Substance Abuse and Suicide in Adolescents was organised by Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Cell, Woodland Institute of Nursing in collaboration with St Anthony’s College, Shillong, Co-Sponsored by CMYDS and Voluntary Assistance Fund (VAF) Cm’s Fund.
