Arrested Bangla man wanted to be jihadi

SHILLONG: Troops of the BSF deployed along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Baghmara, South Garo Hills apprehended one Bangladeshi national on the zero line while he was infiltrating in the Indian territory.
The BSF informed that visiting cards of Bangladesh were recovered from the apprehended Bangladeshi Md Jaharul Islam.
On interrogation, Islam revealed that he works for Jamat-e- Islami foundation in Bangladesh and wants to become Jihadi.
He also works for an international forum SEBDA Children Denmark.
Islam said that he became a Jihadi due to torture by some Awami League members.
He confessed that he wanted to kill all those who do not respect Islam and the Holy Quran. He had entered in India to visit North East States, the BSF said.
