ULFA-I calls for I-Day boycott

GUWAHATI: The banned United Liberation Front of Assam (Independent) and Core-Com, a banner organisation of militant groups from  Manipur, have called for boycott of Indian Independence Day on August 15 next as well as general strike throughout the region from 1.00 A.M. to 6.30 P.M. today day. It was stated in a press statement emailed by the ULFA (I) to media here.
