Dry day
The Deputy Commissioners of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills and West Jaintia Hills Districts have dec-lared August 15 as dry day in the districts on account of Inde-pendence Day. All bonded warehouse, IMFL licensed premises, wholesale and retail sale, shops, bars, hotels, clubs, canteens, country spirit shops and outstill shop shall remain closed on the above mentioned date.
Audition
The audition for Meghalaya’s Got Talent has started at Pynursla, Mawkyrwat, Mairang and Dawki. Many talented singers, dancers auditioned for the show. The Meghalaya Talent Search Organisation urged talents from across the state to take part in the show.
