SHILLONG: A day after  Federation of Parenteral Manufacturers of India alleged discrepancies in a recent tender issued by the Directorate of Health Services (MI) for supply of intravenous fluids, Health and Family Welfare Minister,  AL Hek said that the Government was always looking for good companies for supply of good medicines for the people of the state.

The  federation  had earlier asked on what grounds the tender inviting authority selected the clause of average annual turnover of Rs 50 crore in the last three years for manufacturers.

Hek, however, said that he was yet to go through the tender which was floated and he would find out if the particular clause of  Rs 50 crore is feasible or not.
