LJP writes to Centre on nurse shortage at NEIGRIHMS

SHILLONG: The state president of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Jamil Ahmed, wrote to Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda on the acute shortage of staff nurse at NEIGRIHMS.
Informing that he had a meeting with the Director of the Institute where he learnt that NEIGRIHMS has requested appointment of about 840 staff nurses but the same has not been cleared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
In this connection, he has urged the intervention of the Union Minister and accord approval of the number of nurses required by NEIGRIHMS that will reduce unemployment problems to some extent.
