SSA school teachers demand pending salary by August 20

SHILLONG: The All Meghalaya SSA School Teachers’ Association (AMSSASTA) central body threatened to launch agitation if the state government does not release pending salary  for four months within August 20.

The decision was taken along with the executive committee of the All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers’ Association (AGHSSASTA) held on Saturday.

The two organisations met the State Project Director (SPD) on Tuesday.

The AMSSASTA also elected new office bearers for the term 2018-21 with Lasforious Marngar as president besides other members.
