SHILLONG : The Hynniewtrep National Youth Front (HNYF) has expressed surprise at the comments of Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Executive Member (EM) Antonio War, who spoke of KHADC’s helplessness with regard to trading licenses.
Addressing the Press on Wednesday, general secretary, HNYF Shillong Region, Faster Kharmujai said, “When we went to meet him, he said the District Council only give its recommendations following the NOC given by the Dorbar Shnong.”
The HNYF recently met War with regard to issuing of trading licenses by KHADC. The organization added that they would follow up on the matter again.
