Mawthadraishan muster roll workers form union

SHILLONG: Muster roll workers in Mawthadraishan Block have formed a union so that their grievances can be taken up with higher authorities.
A meeting was conducted by the Citizens Foundation for Human Development (CFHD) along with the active co-operation of the All Meghalaya Muster Roll Workers Union (AMMRWU) at Kynshi on Tuesday.
The Muster Roll Workers Union was formed under the aegis of AMMRWU.
The meeting was chaired by Kiewshaphrang J.W Thabah, treasurer, CFHD.
CFHD president Banshai Marbaniang and general secretary AB Nongbet, and R Thabah, president of AMMRWU, were among the speakers.
ASHA and anganwadi workers discussed their problems and CFHD assured to look into the matter and find ways to address them.
