SHILLONG: After NPP, even Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has distanced himself from the statement of the party’s MDC and KHADC chief HS Shylla that the social custom of lineage bill would prevent spread of HIV-AIDS among tribals.
To a query, Sangma said on Wednesday, “We have nothing to say. KHADC is an autonomous body and we don’t interfere in their governance and policies.”
