NONGSTOIN: A man was arrested on Wednesday by Nongstoin Women Police for allegedly raping his 9-year-old daughter at Laitnamlang, Pariong in West Khasi Hills.
The mother of the minor filed an FIR against her husband namely Kranet Thabah.
The mother said that around 10:30 pm when she returned from Pariong PHC to get medicine, the daughter had told her that she was raped by her father on the same day as well as earlier.
In this regard, a case has been registered under various sections of POCSO Act, and the investigation was on.
