Girl killed in accident

SHILLONG: A 19-year-old girl was killed after a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old youth met with an accident in South West Garo Hills on Friday.
According to police, around 10.10 am, the girl Daldera D. Sangma fell down from a moving Tempo vehicle (ML-14A-4933) driven by the youth Saleh Hoque at Dorgapara.
As a result, the girl sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Ampati, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The body was handed over to her relatives.
