SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday remained discreet about Congress MP Vincent Pala joining the NPP.
“You read the way you want to. I leave it to your reading. The lesser I say, the better it is,” Sangma said while replying to queries.
A photograph of Pala with NPP supporters on the day when Conrad Sangma won the South Tura by-poll had raised speculations about him joining the ruling party.
However, Pala has already denied such developments saying he was going to New Delhi and he went to the NPP office in the capital city to meet Cabinet Minister, Comingone Ymbon and it happened to be a day when results were announced and Conrad Sangma had won the elections.
