NONGSTOIN: The Commissioner & Secretary C&RD Department Government of Meghalaya Sampat Kumar (IAS) on Thursday visited Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills to inpect several schemes and project implemented by the C&RD under West Khasi Hills District.
He began his visit from Mairang and Mawthadraishan Block on Wednesday and on Thursday he proceeded to Mawshynrut and Nongstoin Block. During his visit, Kumar met the VECs and the stakeholders who implemented several government schemes in their areas and also had an interaction with them.
He also inaugurated the SGSY Squash Stall at new Nongstoin in which he lauded the effort taken by the SHGs to be able to conduct such a programme.He concluded his visit with a review meeting between the officers from different department of the district that was held at Conference Hall DC’s office, Nongstoin.
