The HSPDP pointed that the party should be given a chance to field a common candidate for the Lok Sabha election.
Malngiang said, “If possible, we wish the candidate would be from the party and if it is not possible, the central executive committee of the party will take a call on the matter.”
With the common candidate being projected from UDP, he said, “We have heard of UDP’s interest but till date we have not received anything in writing.”
