SHILLONG: The HSPDP on Thursday constituted a committee to search for its president Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit and the work has been entrusted to party’s East Khasi Hills president Martle Mukhim.
Basaiawmoit has been out of public domain since his debacle in the last election.
However, Mukhim said he is still a member of the party although his resignation as president of the party was accepted.
“A committee has been constituted to search for its former president and meet as things need to be made clear,” Mukhim said.
