Train services affected in Assam as portion of railway bridge washed away

GUWAHATI: Train services on the north bank of Brahmaputra River in Assam were totally disrupted on Friday following a portion of railway bridge over swelling Jiadhal River between Dhemaji and Bordoloni railway station, was washed away.

The NF Railway headquarter here informed that eight trains have been short terminated / cancelled because of the development.
