KSU supports KSA rally demanding scheduling of Khasi language

SHILLONG: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) through the education cell has extended their support to the proposed rally to be organised by the Khasi Authors’ Society (KAS) on Saturday to garner support for their demand to include Khasi language in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

The KSU Education cell has requested students from the Khasi community studying in colleges and university to participate in the rally to seek support for the demand to preserve the language.

The Union also urged the Principals of colleges to allow their students to participate in the rally.
