SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma had met veteran leader DD Lapang, who quit the party in Delhi recently. Lapang said during his stay in Delhi after his resignation, Conrad met him and assured him that doors of NPP were always open.
CLP leader Mukul Sangma, who was also camping in Delhi at that time, wanted Lapang to speak to Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi, but in vain.
