Accident
On September 19, one truck (PB-13BC-9425) driven by Gurdeep Singh (33), dashed against one empty oil tanker (AS-04AC-2234) driven by Sabir Hussain Barbhuiya (26) at Lad Pasyih in West Jaintia Hills. The driver and handyman of the oil tanker sustained injuries and were taken to Ialong Civil Hospital.
Bing Suting (35) met with an accident at 15th Mile around 10:28pm when his motorcycle skidded and hit the divider. The victim was taken to Byrnihat PHC by a Byrnihat-based 108 ambulance after which he was referred to GMC in Guwahati for further treatment.
Satib Ansari (23) sustained injuries after his Maruti Swift collided with a Mahindra Bolero in Police Bazaar around 12:51am. The victim was taken to Civil Hospital by a Laitumkhrah-based 108 ambulance.

Fraud
Mukesh Kumar Dwivedi of 7th Mile, Air Force HQ, EAC(U), Upper Shillong lodged a complaint stating that on September 15, he was fraudulently cheated of Rs 75,000 by an unknown lady who had called him on his cell-phone.

Hit and run
On September 19, one unidentified person was found lying on the road at Moodymmai Junction in West Jaintia Hills. The victim is suspected to have been knocked down by an unknown vehicle and was taken to Ialong Civil Hospital where the attending MO declared him brought dead.
Chao Mriganga (24) sustained injuries after a Maruti Swift (unidentified) dashed against his motorcyle and fled at Khanapara Highway 6th Mile around 2:06am. The victim was taken to GMC in Guwahati by a Byrnihat-based 108 ambulance.

Theft
Synshai Nongsiej lodged a complaint stating that on September 17 around 7:00pm, unknown miscreants stole an audio player from his vehicle. On September 18, one person identified as Jerry Lamare was apprehended while he and his accomplice were trying to sell the stolen audio player at Khlieh Iewduh. However, his accomplice managed to escape.
