Teachers’ association lauds govt for Meghalaya Education Policy

SHILLONG: The Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers’ Association (KJDSTA) has lauded the State government for approving the much-awaited Education Policy. KJDSTA president, ED Nongsiang said that the policy was a long pending demand in the state.

Meanwhile, the Association on Saturday held a meeting to discuss about the draft service rules which was released by the government recently.

“We have distributed the draft service rules to our members for their suggestions and reviews,” Nongsiang added

Meanwhile, the KJDSTA have also formed an academic committee to review and find out the loopholes in the text books of Class VIII to Class X and the report will be submitted to the MBoSE director on Monday.
