Theft
On September 24 around 1.30 pm, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Anthea A Majaw at Umlyngka, Upper Shillong and stole electric tiles cutter, electric circular saw, drilling machine, etc.
Blientis Bareh of Jalaphet Bri Sutnga villag in East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on September 20 at about 3.30 pm, unknown miscreants broke into his house and stole fifteen tolas of gold jewelries valued around Rs. 5,66,000.
Witjen Marak lodged a complaint that on September 5, Kingson B Sangma (20) stole a cow belonging to Darang D Sangma at Bandamgre village in West Garo Hills and on September 10, the accused stole a motorcycle belonging to Rajendra Marak from the same village.

Fraud
Prof. R.K Satlapattry lodged a complaint that on September 24 around 4.17 pm, he received an anonymous phone call, wherein the caller introduced himself as a representative of SBI, NEHU Branch and asked about his ATM details. Later, the complainant learnt that Rs. 74,999 has been fraudulently withdrawn from his account.

Vehicle stolen
On Sepember 24 around 10, a Bolero vehicle (ML-08-9297) belonging to Ranja D Shira was found missing from Betasing Market (SWGH).

One drowns in Umtrew
On September 23 around 3.15 pm, Francis Bamon lodged an FIR that an unidentified person drowned in Umtrew River near MeECL Building, Umtrew (RB). Efforts are on to retrieve the dead body.

Accident
Dulen Borah lodged a complaint that on September 19 around 6.30 am, a vehicle (PB-BC-3425) dashed against another vehicle (AS-04AC-2234) driven by Md. Sabir Hussain. As a result, Md. Sabir Hussain and his handyman sustained injuries.

Body found
Khristina Chympa of Saphai-D village in West Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on September 18 circa 5.30 am, a partially decomposed dead body of Alfred Chympa was found lying in a jungle near the village. The deceased is suspected to have been murdered by unknown miscreants.
