RMDC general secretary encourages footballers

SHILLONG: The general secretary of Riwar Mihngi Development Council (RMDC), Dmuising Khongjirem urged budding footballers to steer clear of bad habits and instead mould their future by taking up football. Speaking a small function to distribute jersey to the young footballers of Jaklon Kynthuplang Sports Club Organization, Laitmynrieng, Khongirem said, “Football attracts a lot of people. In the state, there is grass-root programme for footballers.” He said that the ‘beautiful game’ encourages people to lead a discipline life and the attribute of dogged determination to achieve success should be the aim of every player.
