SHILLONG: The alumni association of Pine Mount School, Shillong (Guwahati Chapter) organised the Annual Inter-School Prize Money Quiz Competition on Wednesday at Bishnu Nirmala Bhavan, opposite Latasil Field, Guwahati. The competition was open to student of classes VIII, IX, X, XI & XII of all schools in Guwahati. After the preliminary round, six schools qualified for the final round. Maharishi Vidya Madir, Silpukhuri emerged as the winner. Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Borsojai and South Point School bagged the second and third places respectively. Cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 6,000 were awarded to the three winning teams and certificates were given to all participants. Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri walked away with the Miss Miles Trophy for Best Team.
