GH ultra surrenders

TURA: A member of a little known outfit in Garo Hills surrendered to police in East Garo Hills last week.
The rebel, Sengpan N Marak of Pakregre village in Chijong Apal area surrendered at Rongjeng police station and handed over a demand note pad of A’chik National Liberation Central Army (ANLCA). During intrrogation, he admitted that he was part of the group which was present in an encounter with police that took place on October 2nd at Tarasin Village where one NDFB(S) cadre was killed and another was lynched by the mob while trying to escape.
He revealed that he had received a bullet injury on his left hand. He also revealed that they exorted money from several people before their group had an encounter with the police.
