School feted for 100 pc MR vaccination

SHILLONG: The Laban Bengalee Boy’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, was felicitated on Friday by the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, P.S Dkhar for achieving 100 per cent coverage in the Measles Rubella Campaign on the first day of the campaign itself which started on September 24.
The felicitation programme was held at the school auditorium in the presence of M. R. Basawaimoit, DM&HO, J. B. Ranee, District MCH Officer, M. Sohliya, M&HO, Laban St. Dispensary and other district health officials, B. N. S. Didan, MR Campaign Coordinator, Lions Club International.
