Marian procession held at Nongmensong parish

SHILLONG: The annual Marian Procession of the Sacred Heart Shrine, Nongmensong Parish, was held on Sunday.
A large crowd took part in the procession since it was held together with the liturgy of the First Communion in which 141 children received the Holy Body and Blood of Jesus.
On this occasion, the Holy Bible was given to the children by Rev. Fr. Breson Paul Ranee.
Rev. Fr. John Madur, the Vicar General and Chancellor of the Shillong Archdiocese gave a positive note to the Parish Priest and the parishioners of Nongmensong Parish. After the procession, Rev. Fr. Manbha Pakem, the chairman of the Faith Formation of Jowai Diocese delivered a sermon on the Holy Rosary.
