NISSAN Junior Cup to kick off in December

SHILLONG: The 1st edition of the NISSAN Junior Cup Football Tournament for children between the age of 6 to 15 years will kick off on December 8 at Polo Ground, Madan Heh Mini Stadium, Futsal Ground Indoor Stadium Laban and Shillong Public School Football Ground. The tournament is being organised by Pay For Right Shillong and will be divided into six categories according to age.The objective of the tournament is to promote the junior football in the state and to groom talented players in PFR soccer camp to polish their skills and talent. Various prizes will also be awarded to outstanding players including a cash prize for the winning team. Registration forms will be available at Meghalaya Print, Malki Point near Seven Set School and the last date for submitting entries will be on November 20.
