Helpline service to fast track PMAY-G

GUWAHATI: Assam’s Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) Minister Naba Kr Doley inaugurated a toll-free helpline service for PMAY-G beneficiaries at the office of the Commissioner of P&RD here on Saturday.
With the launching of the helpline, beneficiaries can call 1800-123-235600 or send an SMS or WhatsApp to 91278-71201 and their grievances will be redressed within two working days.
The minister said the helpline number was launched as part of the initiative to accelerate the construction of PMAY-G houses so that the beneficiaries can inform about their problems immediately. He added that measures were being taken to solve the problems detected in the newly constructed houses during a review.
