Mini marathon
Run for Unity, a mini marathon was organised by the Office of the Superintendent of Police, EKH on Saturday which was supported by the Laitumkhrah Traffic Branch. The run was flagged by S Rynjah, MPS, Superintendent of Police, City, EKH in presence of AL Hek, Minister of Health, Ampareen Lyngdoh, local MLA and DK Prasad, MPS, DSP ,Hq, and other senior police officers. More than 700 participants took part in the marathon.
Anniversary
Aradhana, Laban Shiv Mandir kali Puja Committee, Howell Road, Laban will be celebrating its 50th anniversary of Kali Puja celebration on November 6 and 7. The festival will be inaugurated by Governor Tathagata Roy who will be the chief guest at 4 pm on November 6. Sanbor Shullai will also be attending as the guest of honour.
