House gutted in Ri Bhoi

Nongpoh: In a fire incident which occurred on the wee hours on Tuesday, a house belonging to Narolin Khongjoh and Omiwell Marbaniang at Pahamrioh Them in Ri Bhoi district caught fire and was gutted to ashes.
As per sources, the incident occured at around 2 am on Tuesday when the family was asleep. Fortunately, no one was injured as they could escape in time.
Members of Ri Bhoi Youth Federation, Nongpoh Circle led by its President and General Secretary, Joseph Syngkli and Fullbok Lyngdoh donated roof sheets and blankets to the family in presence of the headman, K Suting and other village elders.
