More arrests likely in assault case

SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills police is trying to arrest some more people involved in the brutal attack on CSWO president, Agnes Kharshiing and her colleague Amita Sangma.
Sources said on Tuesday that police are closing in on two or three people who were involved in the attack without revealing any of their strategy to arrest the remaining culprits who brutally attacked the activists.
East Jaintia Hills police has so far arrested two persons in connection with the attack.
