Mayralborn meets DC over entry-exit point

NONGPOH: Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem on Friday met Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi Rosetta Mary Kurbah seeking her intervention to speed up construction of the facilitation centre of the entry and exit points in the district.
In a letter to Kurbah, Syiem said the expert group has submitted the social impact assessment report and they have recommended entry and exit points with facilitation centres.
The Nongpoh MLA requested the Deputy Commisioner to expedite the process at the earliest.
Though the social impact assessment report being conducted by the Meghalaya Institute of Governance had already been submitted, construction of the facilitation centre is yet to begin in the district.
