5 injured in separate mishaps

SHILLONG: Four persons were injured in separate accidents in the city and one in Garo Hills in the last two days. Kalvinson L Mawnai (26) and Haphishisha Ranee (19) were injured when the car they were travelling skidded near 5th Mile Upper Shillong around 4.47 pm on Friday evening.
Promit Koch (24) sustained injury as the tempo he was travelling suddenly skidded in Mankachar area around 7.04pm on Friday night.
Sinai Floren Deimary (20) met with an accident when he lost control of his scooty due to over speeding as per witness account. He hit an electric post near St Edmunds College around 10.28 pm on Friday night.
Shimcolin Lyngdoh (27) sustained injury when he fell from a the second floor of a building around 1.33 am at Mawlai Mawtawar on Saturday.
The injured were shifted to the nearest hospital after first aid by 108 ambulance.
