Khasi & Nepali seminars held at BBS College

SHILLONG: On the occasion of silver jubilee year celebration, the Buddha Bhanu Saraswati (BBS) College conducted a series of one-day national seminar in Nepali on November 17 and Khasi seminar on Sunday at Babu Mani Singh Auditorium, Mawprem in Shillong.
The theme of Nepali seminar was ‘Development of Nepali Literature and Language in North East India’ whereas the theme of Khasi seminar was Halor ka Phang: Im Ka Ktien, Im Ka Jaitbynriew.
The resource persons for Nepali seminar were Dr. Mohan P Dahal and Dr. Sanjay Bantawa Rai (both from North Bengal University), Dr. Khagen Sharma (Guwahati University), Dr. Deaki Devi (Sohitya College, Tezpur) and Khemraj Nepal (Nepali Vibhag Sahitya Academy).
