SHILLONG: The youth wing of Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) said the direction given by the district administration to different schools to withhold the results of students who were not administered with the Measles Rubella Vaccine (MRV) is unjustified and many are opposing the move.

President of the youth wing, Thomas Passah demanded  that the state government through the Health and Family Welfare Department  should send an office order to the schools to neither withhold the results nor harass the parents with regard to vaccination.

It may be mentioned that the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has shot off a letter to the District School Education officer to withhold the annual examination results of those students who refuse to go for Measles-Rubella vaccination.
