SHILLONG: A quarry worker at Laitkhroh in Mawkdok area died after falling off the stone quarry on Tuesday.
When a Sohra-based 108 ambulance reached the site and the emergency staff examined the 30-year-old victim, Tyngshain Sing Synrem, they administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation and shifted him to Swer Public Health Centre. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
