NE human rights activists visit Agnes and Amita

Shillong: A delegation of North East Human Rights defenders travelled all the way to Shillong to visit Agnes Kharshiing and also met Amita Sangma, at NEIGRIHMS Hospital on Saturday to express solidarity and condemn the dastardly act against the human rights activist and her colleague.
The delegation included Jiten Yumnam,  Center for Research and Advocacy Manipur, Garo Students Union Khasi Hills Zone,  Pritam DebBarman, Borok Dopha, Human rights organization Aham Rongjeng Unit, Gyatso Lepcha, General Secretary , Affected Citizens of Teesta, Sikkim, Mayalmit Lepcha, Sikkim Indigenous Lepcha  Tribal Association, (SILTA),
Lobsang Gyatso, General Secretary, Save Mon Region Federation, Tawang Dist Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, Agnes is slowly recovering and is still under observation including physiotherapist care.
