MAWKYRWAT: The V Invitational Football Tournament 2018-19 organised by Mawten Sports Club kick-start on Saturday at Mawpyllun Football Ground, Mawten in the presence of Health and Family Welfare Minister, AL Hek as the Chief Guest, local MLA and MIDC Chairman, Renikton L. Tongkhar as the Guest of Honour, SDO Ranikor Civil Sub-Division H. S. Diengdoh and many other Govt. officials and dignitaries from all around the area. The first match of this edition was played between Assam Regiment Football Team and Umkaber SC in which the former emerged victorious with a margin of 2-0 goals.L Rosendro of the Assam Rifle Football Team was adjudged Man of the Match.
