SHILLONG: The KSU will observe the 24th death anniversary of KSU’s former president Bull N. Lyngdoh on Friday.
While urging former leaders to attend the programme, KSU general secretary Donald Thabah in a press statement said the programme will be held in front of the bust of Lyngdoh.
The union will also celebrate its 40 years of journey. The KSU Malki Circle will organise the 8th BN Lyngdoh Memorial Open to All Football Tournament.
Nongpoh circle election
On the other hand, KSU chairman of Election Committee Biangbor L Paliar said the CEC will hold elections for KSU Nongpoh circle and voting is on December 15.
Voting will be held at Nongpoh Dorbar Hall, Sajer, from 10 am to 1 pm. Nominations forms can be obtained from office of KSU North Khasi Hills District Unit at Mawdiangum.Scrutiny will be held at the office of KSU NKHDU on December 11.
