Bangladeshi national apprehended
On December 10, residents of Lokikona Cheptapara village (WGH) apprehended one Bangladeshi national Nidesh A Sangma (42), who had entered the country without valid documents.

One killed, 4 hurt in separate accidents
On December 11, a motorcycle (JK-14-8863) ridden by Prasanjit Das (23) dashed against a tree near Old Cherra petrol pump, Shillong. As a result, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong, where the attending MO declared him dead. On the same day, a truck (AS-01DD-2523) driven by Daneshwar Mahanta dashed against a Datsun Redi-go car (ML-08E-9728) driven by Morgina G Momin at Upper Damalgre (SWGH). As a result, two occupants of the car sustained injuries.
On December 1, a Hyundai i10 car (ML-08B-3355) driven by Tapando Ch Marak, knocked down two persons Nikchong M Sangma and Janil G Momin near Walbakgre. As a result, the victims sustained injuries and were shifted to NEIGRIHMS and CH Tura, respectively.
