Accident
On Friday around 1pm, an accident took place involving one Maruti Alto (ML-04B-4193) and one scooty (ML-05R-4117) at Pyllun village in Ri Bhoi. The driver of the car and scooty rider sustained injuries.
Assault
Abdul Samad lodged a complaint stating that on December 11 around 4 pm, four persons identified as Akas Ali, Salina Bibi, Sahanawas Bibi and Sokot Ali assaulted his son Zakir Hussain near Nayagaon Mosque in West Garo Hills. They also snatched Rs 7,000 and one mobile phone.
Drug bust
On Friday around 7 pm, one Md. Ajahanuddin (32) was apprehended while delivering drugs in Jhalupara. Two soap cases containing 23.81 grams of heroin were recovered from the accused.
Theft
Manna Debnath of Pynthorumkhrah, lodged a complaint stating that on Friday, unknown miscreants stole 200 grams gold, silver and Rs 9,500 cash. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to be Rs 7 lakh.
Jeremy Warjri lodged a complaint stating that on Friday around 10:30 am, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05N-5294) from the premises of Kids Care School in Laitumkhrah.
