40 cattle seized in WJH in a month

SHILLONG: More than 40 cattle were seized along the Indo-Bangladesh border in west Jaintia Hills in the last one month. West Jaintia Hills SP said on the night of December 7, BSF personnel of Muktapur BOP seized 18 cattle which were being smuggled to Bangladesh. On December 3, the BSF personnel of Muktapur BOP seized 27 oxen and on November 25, seized one. However, the smugglers managed to escape.
