SHILLONG: Dr. Friday Lyngdoh Memorial Cross Country Race & Run 2018 was organised to commemorate the third death anniversary of the longest serving president of the club at Mawkhar Shillong on December 24. Altogether about 210 runners participated in the run, which was flagged off by Tbn. T. Kharmih, Tbn. D. Hynniewta.The winners in Boy’s Sub Junior category are Kyrsoijingmut Pathaw (first), Wilbokstar Nongrum (2nd) and Jimwelson Ramsiej (3rd). Dabit Dkhar bagged first in Boy’s Junior category, Ashley Ryngksai and Miki Pdein bagged second and third respectively. In the Men Open Emohius Nongkhlaw was the winner while Stillin Jyrwa scored second position and third place was secured by Kresstarjune Pathaw. Swonding Mawlong secured first position in the Men’s Veteran while, Pynshngainlang Dkhar and Kedrick Kharpur bagged second and third respectively. The winner of Girl’s Sub Junior is Melari Pariong, second position was secured by Ibapynsuk Ramsiej and the third place Lynti Jingkyrmen K. Jarian. In the Girl’s Junior category the first place was bagged by Marqueenless Ramsiej while Lesmimery Lyngkhoi and Ikyntiewshisha Ramsiej secured second and third. Darishisha Iangjuh is the winner of Women Open category, Dateibankynmaw Marwein and Pynhun Shullet secured second and third positions. In the Women Veteran category, first place was secured by Snora Lyngkhoi while Kmoin Wahlang bagged second place and the third position secured by Daphika Pakyntein.
