SHILLONG: The president of the Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP), Wellbirth Rani, said the federation has constituted a committee to call Kynsai War for an explanation on the allegations levelled against him by social activist Agnes Kharshiing.
“Very soon the disciplinary committee will summon him. Nobody can misuse or tarnish the image of the organisation,” Rani told The Shillong Times.
He added that the disciplinary committee will include the former leaders of the organisation as members.
Commenting on allegations of War’s involvement in coal mining, Rani said, “Doing business is his personal matter but we don’t subscribe to illegal things even if it’s personal business.” It may be mentioned that War’s name cropped up when Kharshiing named him in her complaint for indirectly threatening her through her informers.
