Missing man found dead
Klestar Syiemlieh lodged a complaint that his son Raplang Lyngdoh Marshilong (22) went missing from his residence at Lawse village in West Khasi Hills, since December 31. However, on January 2 morning, his body was recovered from near his house.

Theft
Sonu Walia lodged a complaint that on December 30 AROUND 3 pm, one unidentified boy brandished a knife and snatched her purse containing cell-phone, ATM card, Aadhaar card, etc., while she was on her way from Keating Road towards Police Bazar, Shillong.
On December 29 around 9 pm, miscreants stole thirteen heads of cattle from the cowshed of Sngi Biam at Lymbdang Nongbah village in West Jaintia Hills.
On December 20 around 3.45 pm, miscreants stole one cell-phone valued around Rs 24,999 from Anish Singh’s shop at Iewduh, Shillong.
On December 15, one Saitnia Katrai stole betel-nuts from a plantation belonging to Shongdap Katrai at Phudskhem Nonglait Sirdarship in East Khasi Hills.

Toddler missing
Asahaduz Zaman lodged a complaint that on December 26, one four-year-old baby boy was found missing from Bholarbhita (WGH).
