Eight NE youths conferred young achievers award

NONGPOH: In recognition to the talented youths of North East who have excelled in various disciplines, the Dalmia Bharat Cement has presented the Young Achiever Awards, while celebrating its 6th years of its brand in the Northeast region.

The Young Achiever Awards were presented to eight youths of the region on January 12  for their achievement in different field of life. The award ceremony was held at hotel in Guwahati City.

The awardees include Cornelius Laloo from Meghalaya ( print journalism), Lalruatthara fro m Mizoram  (sports)  Rimpi Das of Assam (Film), Partha Protim Boruah of Assam (electronic media), Kenli Basar from Arunachal Pradesh (Ecology and environment), Sanat Nunia from Assam (Agriculture) and Dr. Abhirun Das from Assam for his bravery acts.

Being one of the faster growths in slag cement in North East and India as a whole, Dalmia Bharat Cement Private Limited as a mark of encouraging the talented youths also distributed certificates and mementos along with cash award to all the selected young achievers awardees from North East.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ujjwal Batria, COO, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. said, “Completing six years in North East, we now feel it is the time to look ahead and work towards the future. We are focused on innovation and have already brought one of the best products to North East with the launch of premium product Dalmia DSP in the entire North East region in 2018”.
