State youth among eight young achievers

NONGPOH: A journalist from the state has won Young Achiever Award presented by Dalmia Bharat Cement on the occasion of its sixth anniversary in the North East.
Cornelius Laloo is among the eight youths who have received the award. Laloo received the award in Guwahati on January 12 in the field of print media.
Other awardees were Lalruatthara, Mizoram (sports), Rimpi Das, Assam (film), Partha Protim Boruah from Assam (journalism, electronic media), Kenli Basar, Arunachal Pradesh (ecology and environment), Sanat Nunia from Assam (agriculture) and Dr Abhirun Das, Assam for bravery.
Ujjwal Batria, COO, Dalmia Cement Ltd, said, “Completing six years in North East, we now feel it is the time to look ahead and work towards the future. We are focused on innovation and have already brought in one of the best products to the North East.”
