Heroin seized, one arrested
On January 14 around noon, police arrested Charlin Chyrmang from Rymbai Road (EJH) and recovered 1.65 grams of suspected heroin from his possession.
Man threatened, cash stolen
Francis Marbaniang lodged a complaint that on January 13 around 4 pm, Bankerlang Marbaniang, forcibly entered the residence of the complainant at Umsaw, Mylliem (EKH) and took away cash Rs lakh and also threatened the complainant’s daughter.
Theft
Between December 18, 2018 and January 10, 2019, unknown miscreants stole a TV set and a wrist watch from the residence of Sunita Gour at Police Reserve, Shillong.
